The Lincoln Christian Women’s Club met this morning with a kick off of “Weddings Through The Ages” by Lynn Rustad, owner of Ellynne Bridal. Lynne provided the models with vintage gowns – including a gown from yours truly!

We had to change in the back with the caterers! Always interesting.

Today was so much nicer! Sunny and beautiful! 

We saw Ford Models and Lily’s Talent. Went to Millennium Park and Grant Park. Grant Park hosted the Chicago Blues Festival. 

Tonight we are off to eat at Ed Debevic’s and ComedySportz!

Well, we made it. Barely.

We checked in at the airport in Omaha only to learn that the flight was oversold and one of our girls wouldn’t make it on. But never worry. I told them that there was NO WAY I was leaving 10 minors…okay 8 minors in Omaha. Soon, some nice man came and gave up his seat for us. Thank you nice guy!!!

We got to Midway on time. Only to learn here, that Kelsey’s bag didn’t make it. And it has her portfolio in it! Yikes. So we will wait for it to be found and delivered.

The first thing we did was eat at Giodano’s – Chicago stuffed pizza. Yum. We were so hungry. But we could only eat one piece, it was so big and filling. 

We saw Elite Model Management after that. Alyssa was so nice to everyone and I made a connection to an old contact! We will discuss each girl on Monday! Did I saw that it was raining and we didn’t have umbrellas? That’s right, soaked again for the agencies. What is it with these visits.

After that we strolled Michigan Avenue and shopped. The Coach store was the big hit when the shoes were on sale. Yeah!
