A Year In Review

Sending you many blessings from Brad, Robin, Madison and Emerie.
I am already looking back at 2008 to see what needs tweaking for 2009, but mostly counting the many blessings bestowed on me, my family and Springboard. My list takes up several pages in my journal, but I want to share my top five Springboard list with you. After all, you helped make it so!
1. Over 60 young women graduated from Model Behavior, Model Material or private coaching.
2. Several professionals entered into a coaching relationship with Springboard.
3. Pamida (Surdell & Partners Advertising), Gordman’s, Ellynne Bridal, Dirtpit.tv, Saving Mother Earth, L magazine, Brodkey’s, iSalon Omaha and several other clients have faithfully booked Springboard Models.
4. Seven young ladies and two moms traveled to NYC with me to visit agencies and experience the city. And what an experience we had…even a day of walking in the rain! One model is leaving for NY this summer, one to Los Angeles, one to Miami and two are being scouted by agents in Germany and Spain.
5. Springboard had five title holders and finalists from Miss Nebraska preliminaries, National American Miss, Miss Coed Nebraska and Miss Nebraska US Teen.
6. Okay, I said five, but his one is perhaps the most important! From the emails, phone calls and letters I have received from students and parents, Springboard has positively touched the lives of so many. Young women, who are plagued by looking, feeling and acting a certain way are becoming confident in their own skin, speaking up, fitting in, finding their way and overall exhibiting their courtesies, confidence and character. Bravo ladies!
Thank you, everyone, for all the ways you have touched me this year and for how you’ve made Springboard what it is…full of successful, poised women who are taking their place in the world!
My hope for 2009? More of the same…and some young men!
