Hey everyone! 
For those of you in Lincoln, I hope you are enjoying your spring break. After a long bought with the flu, I am packed and ready to head to Minnesota tomorrow morning. I am taking five young ladies to Mall of America.  While I’m wondering what traveling (as the only driver) with these young’uns will be like, I have to admit that I hope for a wonderful find to place on my feet, body or face! Yes, I’m looking forward to spending hours in Sephora, checking out all the cosmetics we just can’t get here in Lincoln. And, of course, I’ll be searching for something spectacular for my feet! Wish me luck.

In addition to the trip, the Giffords have decided to embark on pet ownership. We have found many adorable dogs, but haven’t quite landed on the right dog. Until today. Every dog we see, we compare to our beloved neighbor dog, Carmel. Well, today, our neighbors asked us if we’d like to have him?!

Divine intervention, I’m sure. I can’t wait.

When I get back, I’ll let you know about all the fabulous spring fashions adorning the racks at Ann Taylor, H & M, Nordstroms and Forever 21. And I’ll also keep you posted on our life with Carmel.

MTV and the executive producers of hit series like “America’s Next Top
Model” now bring you “Teen Dream”– an exciting reality competition series
to find America’s next female superstar. We are searching the nation for the
most talented female singers with the biggest personalities AS WELL as their
equally charismatic mother/managers! The selected mother/daughter teams may
compete for a chance at a cash prize and the opportunity to showcase their
daughter’s talent. Are you ready for the chance to live the dream? IF SO,

Former Nancy Bounds instructor, current runway and leg model, Jackie Mumm Gill, will visit with Springboard students Monday, April 28. Jackie will tell you how she broke into the business, managed her career and answer any questions you have.

Jackie has one of the most beautiful walks on the runway. And, I’m sure if ask, she’ll watch you walk and give you some pointers.
