Miss Omaha 2008, Alexis Geist and Miss Nebraska Coed 2008, Marisa Marsh

It’s been an exciting week at Springboard. First, Alexis Geist wins the Miss Omaha 2008 title, then Michael Dar arrives from Los Angeles to shoot Marisa Marsh, Miss Nebraska Coed 2008! Marisa will compete for the national title in Orlando, Florida in November.

Michael started the day scouting locations. Thank you to Mike and Kim Marsh for the use of their beautiful home. It provided all the natural light we needed. Kim even provided a wonderful lunch — yum! Michael joked that she was way to beautiful to cook. But let me tell you, she CAN cook!

Make-up took a bit longer and Miss Omaha, Alexis Geist stopped by to check it out.

Marisa learned that modeling isn’t the easiest job, but well worth the work. She looked gorgeous. Check out the work in progress snapshots below.

Congratulations to Alexis Geist, Miss Omaha 2008!

Competing with 12 other girls, Alexis stood out from the crowd from the first moment on stage. Alexis exudes class, sophistication, intelligence, poise and grace. And she is one of the few who looks great in a swimsuit!

Two other girls won titles as well, Brittany Jeffers won Miss Douglas County and Devon Howell won Miss River City.

All three girls will meet again on stage in North Platte in June for the Miss Nebraska pageant.

Last night Springboard graduated five more young ladies from its six-week Model Behavior class. Model Behavior equips young men and women with social, style and etiquette skills for any situation. Students also begin runway work.
